The Shore Lounge

This lounge was designed as the main reception space. The existing hand-painted chimney breast was retained as the focal point and carefully framed with full-height panels in mirror and recycled pale gold aluminium, which creates a soft, silk-like variation in reflection.  The reflective panels enhance the sense of space while maintaining warmth, balancing grandeur with intimacy and strengthening the presence of the chimney breast. A palette of muted golds, warm beige tones, and aquamarine establishes a serene, elegant atmosphere. Instead of a traditional sofa layout, the space is furnished with easy chairs and pouffes, allowing flexibility between formal reception and relaxed lounge use.
