Blossom Room

Loft Conversion and Renovation of a Victorian house
Location
Carshalton
A loft space and stairway leading up to it were designed with the aim of creating an atmosphere that felt energetic, joyful and full of colour. The concept drew inspiration from spring meadows in full bloom, translating their spontaneity and vibrancy into the interior language. A lively palette of pinks, yellows, fuchsias and teal tones was used throughout to establish a strong sense of optimism and movement. This floral reference was carried into the detailing: lighting fittings as abstract blossoms, tactile upholstery in soft velvet, “petal-like” forms. Along the stairway, three-dimensional floral wall elements turn the circulation route into an almost garden-like experience.
