The Silk Road House

The house was designed for a client who had travelled extensively and spent long periods living between India, China and New York, collecting antiques and objects along the way. Within the shell of a modern apartment building, the interiors were conceived to reconnect these pieces, giving each object the right sense of space, sequence and presence. The design focused on creating a careful balance of colours, textures and materials, allowing moments of pleasant discovery to unfold naturally throughout the home.
